The Harrisburg
Neighborhood Food Bank
This
ministry has provided food for literally thousands of
people in the Harrisburg Community since its inception.
In 2005 over 10,000 hot meals were served in addition to
several hundred needy families receiving grocery
packages, which included personal hygiene products for
their personal use.
The
Harrisburg Neighborhood Clothing Bank
This ministry provides
clothing for all ages for those in need of assistance.
Persons needing assistance can contact the church office
for information on how to participate in this program.
The clothing bank receives donations from the entire
CSRA area.
Friday Night Community
Outreach
This program is designed to
reach the inner city youth, ages 4-18. Attendance
averages 120 and has proven to be a life changing
ministry in the Harrisburg Community. |
The Seniors can shop free
of charge at the Food Bank after the monthly
fellowship dinner.
Even the
little children can enjoy their visit to the Clothing
Bank, where often times toys are also donated.
The
children also receive nutritious meals along with lots
of love and attention from the staff of volunteers. |
